What is TapeLine?
TapeLine is quantity take-off software from Natha & Co. You open a drawing, set its scale, measure lengths, areas and counts, and build a bill of quantities.
Is this website the software?
No. The website explains the product. The free beta version lets you try TapeLine on your own drawing (PDF or image), with a few limits.
Can I try TapeLine without an account?
Yes. The free beta needs no account or password, only your email address. It is limited to the first page, a few measurements and no export.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. In the free beta, your file is read inside your browser and is not sent to a server.
What can I measure?
Lengths, areas and counts. You set the scale from a known dimension first.
Does TapeLine build a bill of quantities with rates?
Yes. Measurements flow into a bill of quantities with rate build-ups, resources and overhead and profit.
Are the rates on the home page real prices?
No. The rates in the 3D demo are illustrative sample values in AED, not market prices. You can edit them in the demo.
What does the 3D estimate include?
Concrete, formwork, reinforcement steel, blockwork, windows, a door, a staircase and a parapet, priced with editable sample rates in AED.
